Tory and Labour are poverty junkies

Tonight thousands of children will go to bed hungry, parents worrying how to pay the bills, pensioners and disabled  terrified of being thrown onto the street, because they can no longer afford the homes where they live, never mind being able to heat those homes.
This is the price of failure, yet these are not the people who failed, far from it. They are victims of political failure, a failure that has existed through the decades, a disease unchecked.
Our media loves to promote freedom of the press, loves to use  politicians soundbites dressed up as policies, yet  fail to examine and hold them to account.
This is a society where the media  routinely use words like scrounger and undeserving,  to describe human beings,  most of us in Glasgow will know these people, even be related to them or went to school with them.
They are not how it is reported far from it, they are people with complex problems, exacerbated by incompetence and arrogance of the ruling elites. Part of a system of a democracy the love to call the United Kingdom.
Well the United Kingdom is bankrupt, the media won’t report this. In fact they still pretend we’re some global power, the price of that power for vast majority of the people is low wages, villification and downright lies.
Yet a quick glance at the numbers, tells a different story, wage rises are capped at between 1 and 2%, yet prices and living costs will rise by between 7 & 9%, it’ll be the same again next year.

If you’ve got any savings, you won’t see a return on them unless your fabulously wealthy.
The banks are currently receiving billions through QE, but instead of lending to business are buying UK govt bonds and getting a return of around 5%. Allowing them to bulk up their balance sheets, but that’s not working, as they pay out billions in compensation for their fraudulent PPI schemes and other failed investments.
Now the bedroom tax is alleged to be a means of reducing the housing benefit bill, but how can you reduce a bill, when you fail to tackle the biggest area of spend which is London and the SE.
Currently you can get up to £250 a week in housing benefit for a 1 bed flat in London, through the Local housing allowance, if you’re a pensioner or disabled person in Glasgow with a spare room, you'll get penalised. Do the sums, a 2 bed in Glasgow will average at £400 a mth, a 1 bed in London will average at £1000 a mth. See the problem.

London house prices have inflated by 300% in last 30 years, and the Tory plans are to build more houses in London and the SE, which will bring more expensive properties into the market, increasing the housing benefit bill further.
How are the UK govt paying for all this, from the money the recieved from the banks buying govt bonds. The UK is heading for a massive financial crash, which will make sub prime look like a picnic, instead of dealing with ridiculously high rents by introducing a rent cap, they’ve decided to penalise some of the most vulnerable in our city, and label it as nesecarry to reduce welfare spend and the media are playing along with it, as they always do.
It doesn’t matter if it’s labour or Tory, both have played this game and both are equally guilty.
Is there a better way, of course there is. You can either accept your fate and stick with this failed state or change your future and that of your kids. It’s simple, it all starts with a simple YES.

Glasgow: Labour party's Stalingrad

Glasgow the 2nd city of the empire, its people built the trains and ships that traversed continents and oceans, who stood when the call to war came, sacrificing themselves in numbers, which only make you weep. Titans of the industrial revolution, its eminent institutions strived for enlightenment and lit the world.
These days Glasgow is a crumbling wreck, the people the lifeblood of this city, dying before their time.  Our city fathers no longer men and women of vision and social justice, but more pin striped beauracats who clamour for glory and the cost of this city and its people.
None so more, than the Labour party, who in my lifetime have sacrificed generations of young Glaswegians life opportunities to the glory of the Labour party at Westminster.
Take a look around, read the stats,  men in poor working class areas are more likely to die before they’re 60 with women not far behind. Children growing up in those same areas have a higher risk of leaving school illiterate and destined to live in poverty. This is labour’s social justice, the party of the poor, no longer care, they prefer to wine and dine and then wine and dine some more, with business leaders.
The self same business leaders who have devalued our labour to such an extent, that the much heralded min wage, is effectively below the poverty line, with increases in utilities costs and prices in general on an upward spiral.
Remember prices never come down, costs always rise, despite the clamour to reduce labour costs and mechanisation.
Now a couple of weeks ago a group of academics produced a paper, looking into why we die younger and more of us live in poverty, compared to other parts of the UK. Despite delving into the stats, they concluded that they could find a singular cause, there was no one underlying effect that causes this. Now I’ve not got letters after my name, I’m not an academic.
But I could have saved them a lot of wasted effort, because there is a causal link, is blindingly obvious, but unlike angels; they feared to tread. So what is the link?

          THE FUCKING        LABOUR PARTY

It’s a simple process of elimination, if there is no link between the health, education and housing sectors, then the only other question you can reasonably ask is, who has been running these services for the last 4 decades in Glasgow, answer is above.
Remember the 80’s , when labour’s rallying call is vote labour to keep Thatcher out, well Glaswegians did, and it was a long wait and had a particularly vicious effect on Glasgow’s next generation.  And when they did get labour, it was not their Labour, but Blair’s new labour army and what reward did this city get, fucking call centres paying min wage.
Now poverty is on the agenda again, it’s rising, surprised, considering the calibre of those who are responsible for the economic mess of this city, it was a one horse race.
If you were like me and grew up in a housing estate like Drumchapel, you felt the full force of poverty and lack of opportunity, and it pisses me off no end.
I sometimes feel like punching people in the face every time they appear on TVs and talk of poverty in some abstract terms, percentages etc. these are people vast majority either children or elderly.
Vilified by press and politicians alike, including Labour politicians. Who’s standing for them, why do reporters not probe, challenge pejorative statements, why are they happy to play the game?
You try and grow up in a housing estate like Drumchapel, when you get failed, the very first day you enter school, where you’re parents are routinely vilified on national TV and in the press, where your granny struggles to heat her poor quality housing.
You see poverty is a business, a middle class business, it’s where you have teachers, not there as a vocation, but as well paid professionals with excellent holiday entitlement, or the countless social workers also on excellent salaries, or the academics routinely despatched to navel gaze and find the root cause of this insidious and endemic disease.
So for the last 4 decades Labour have sacrificed the life opportunities of Glaswegians growing up in ‘non desirable area’s’ for the glory of gaining power in London, much like Stalin did, when he demanded his generals hold the city that bore his name.
Will we ever see the men and women of labour held responsible for this outrage, of course not. They’ll all get a cushy pension, some may even climb into the anus of Labour and become and MP, then fuck you, they’ll build a property empire and possibly become a lord. All on the back of the poor, which they claim to, want to protect.
Why vote yes in 2014, because if you don’t, you’ll be party to consigning another generation of Glaswegians to poverty and an early death. Better Together don’t make me laugh, lying, self serving fucking incompetents more like.

Are you willing to stand, or continue with the labour delusion. THINK,  CHALLENGE, and demand ANSWERS.

call the polis, there's been a murder

There’s been a murder; this outrageous claim was made on Tuesday by Glasgow Mp Ian Davidson during a hate filled rant, as Westminster was passing the section 30 order. Now murders in Glasgow are on the decline thanks to increased police numbers, mainly due to SNP policy.

But this didn’t stop the member for Govan making an absurd claim and attempt to rewrite history at the same time. According to Mr Davidson a group of Scots murdered English people just outside the village of Bannockburn. To compound this further he claimed that we were now going to celebrate this in 2014.

If we’re to believe Mr Davidson, Edward 2 and his chums were on a camping trip visiting Scotland’s historical castles and sites, and were unfairly attacked and murdered, the truth of the matter is further from Mr Davidson’s account. The English were there to rob pillage murder and oppress the Scots, and attempt to impose English rule on Scotland.
This sounds a lot more like current Labour party policy than Mr Davidson would care to admit. I can use a recent conflict to highlight this assertion, Iraq, where Blair and Bush murdered there way across the desert, claiming to bring democracy under the guise of removing WMD while helping themselves to oil reserves. Scotland’s got oil and wmd’s maybe we’ll be invaded soon.

Historic revisionism is the worst kind of political posturing, but then again that’s never stopped labour before. They still persist in myth making, current favourite that Alistair Darling saved the banks, when we all know; it was labour’s incompetent oversight that created the situation in the first place. Why left the truth get in the way of political spin.

Then we has anas sarwar, son of former millionaire labour MP Mohammed sarwar, who described the Scottish Govt as a dictatorship, reiterating claims by other labour Mp’s that the Scottish govt cannot be trusted to hold the Independence referendum, labour couldn’t be trusted to organise a piss up in a brewery,

Davidson and his labour chums hate filled obsession, intemperate language and ludicrous assertions against the SNP are a parody of what a modern democracy should be and aspire to be…

What happened on Tuesday was representative of Labour party in Scotland laid bare, their intolerance odiously lingering throughout what can only reasonably described as a hate fest, only compounded by their demands the SNP conduct a moderate and constructive debate around Scottish independence. The word Hypocrites can easily be attached to labour, the evidence is clear. Yet the tame Scottish media turned their well practised blind eye to this event and are clearly unwilling to call Labour out on this.

I don’t know what is more disgusting, labour’s attitude towards Scotland or the media allowing them to assert lie after lie, and never holding them to account.
